Sim Farm is all about growing crops, digging irrigation, and raising livestock! You start off with a basic farm house and a small plot of land. With enough time and enough seasons, you'll be able to purchase more land. This game is classified as "edu-tainment" - it's a lot of fun (I spent a good month playing this game earlier in the year), and it teaches (children mostly) about farming and gardening. There are several different crops that can be grown, all with their own requirements (such as season, watering, fertilizer needs, etc). You will need to pay close attention to all your growing fields because they will be infested with insects or other types of problems.
In this game you can also buy all sorts of farming equipment. Trackers, Harvesters, Sprayers, and even a Crop Duster (that's an airplane for all you city slickers!). As your farm prospers, you'll notice the neighboring town do the same. If you aren't careful, the Town will buy out land quicker than you, leaving you with less farmland than you'd really benefit from having (in other words, buy land when you can, before it's too late!)
