Not to be confused with the 2009 version or the board game. Blood bowl is a turn-based strategy video game which is a fantasy version of American football. You take the spot of the coach, as you lead famous Warhammer teams like the Elfheim Eagles or the Underworld Creepers to the golden trophy. The game has a violent twist as you deliberately injury or kill your opponents. It also features a league play where you can sign free agents to make your team better or replace players that were killed on the field. You get star player points on your players which allows you to get new abilities but the draw back with that is that the computer randomly picks the abilities for you. If you are looking for a new twist on a football turn-based game this is your stop.
