Left 4 Dead : Old School Style

Ever wonder what one of your favorite games of today would like if it were released in the 80's? Take Eric Ruth, who has recreated Valve's Left 4 Dead with an 8-bit feel. It has all the games original campaigns, sprites of the special infected and all for 2 players to play through, no four player stuff here! Just in case you were wondering, Valve apparently finds the project "Hilarious". Ruth reveals that he would like to release the full game in January 2010 for the PC, as a free download.

Its nice to see people going out of there way to make games such as this, giving the hot titles of the today a nice retro remake. Check out more below for a link to Ruth's YouTube video of his progress on the game so far.
