Battletoads
This game brings you on an adventure through many different Worlds and terrains. You play a Toad, a Battletoad! You can pick between "Zitz" or "Rash" and your goal is to save your friend named "Pimple" (clever names, right?). The storyline is quite simple, your friend has been kidnapped by the evil Dark Queen and you must fight your way through snake infested pits, ride hoverbikes at extreme speeds, fly airplanes through rings of fire, and even escape from a fast moving spinning Orb. All this, just to defeat the Dark Queen and save your friend. This game is two players although on level 11 you may find it difficult (if not impossible) to beat it when playing multiplayer.
