Old Nintendo Sells For $13,000

Celebrating the classics is what we do here at Old School Apps, so here is a nice "found some gold in the attic" story for you. Collectors of old Nintendo games have been known to spend 5 figures on sought after games, one Ebay user wasn't expecting to get that money for an auction they posted though.

New Theme

Our new theme was implemented today, we'll be spending the next few days working out some of the kinks in it. Once things seem to be smooth again, we'll be implementing forums and regular updates again. We have a new gamer on board who will be blogging about newer games, such as game remakes or "big hit" titles.

If you come across any problems with the new theme besides some of the awkward images leftover from the old theme, please send us a message so we can add it to our list of tweaks.

Another short update, but at least it's something....?.

What is Game Gavel?

Game Gavel, the site formerly known as Chase the Chuckwagon is an auction site exclusively for gaming related auctions. On this site you can find old games, gaming consoles, and even old game manuals or toys. I've even seen arcade machines and old computer hardware there too.

Just recently Chase The Chuckwagon changed it's name to GameGavel. Shortly after (actually it's in the process now), they've paired up with Screw Attack. Some of you may already be familiar with this site if you read IGN.com. I think they (GameGavel) have a good chance at pulling in better and more frequent gaming auctions with this new exposure.
